2019 Civic Sedan LX

This is Honda’s entry-level Civic; it’s the least expensive Civic you can buy. For $800 more you can get the LX in an automatic, continuously variable transmission (CVT). The interior is equipped with black cloth – the only option for this trim. The LX comes with 16-inch wheels (with hubcaps) or for just under $1,700 more you can upgrade to 17-inch alloy wheels in either black or machine-finished.

2019 Honda Civic Sport in Blue

Honda’s 2019 Civic Sport trim also comes with an optional six-speed manual transmission and the automaker’s 2.0L CVT operated engine. The most attractive difference between these two Civic trim models is that the Sport comes with paddle gear shifters. Additionally, the Sport comes in two additional exterior colors – Aegean Blue and Rallye Red. The interior also comes with just one option – black cloth (you need to upgrade to the EX-L trim for leather options). You do get completely new wheel options with the Sport trim, each of which are 18-inch alloys.

In addition to the aforementioned color options, the EX version of the Civic includes a metallic Cosmic Blue and pearl Molten Lava. The only engine option for this trim level is Honda’s CVT 1.5L turbo. In addition to the black cloth interior that comes standard in the Sport and LX, the EX has a gray cloth option to boot. This car comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, but can be upgraded to a multi-spoke 17-inch wheel in either black or machine-finish.

2019 Civic Sedan Type R

If you want to park a race car in your garage at night, you could if you were to buy the Type R Honda Civic. With over 100 more pound-foot of torque and horsepower, the Type R competes on a completely different level than any other trim. You also get a couple of unique color options to choose from – Polished Metal and Sonic Gray (shown below) but this trim is limited to just five choices. There’s also a Type R-only interior color scheme that combines a red and black suede-like fabric. A race car needs big wheels too; which is why Honda equips the Type R with 20-inch alloys.
